Privacy Policy

Rookido turns a photo you choose into a vintage collectible football card. We care about your privacy and collect as little as possible — you don't need an account, and we never ask for your name or email.

What we process, and why

• Your photo. When you make a card, your photo is sent (encrypted) to our server and on to OpenAI, which generates the card. It is used only to create your card.
• The card details you enter. The optional player name and your chosen country, year and style are sent along with your photo, and are used only to design that card.
• Notification token. If you allow push notifications, we store an anonymous device key so we can let you know when your card is ready.

Face data

Rookido does not collect face data. The app contains no face-detection, face-tracking or facial-recognition technology, and it never creates or stores facial landmarks, facial geometry or biometric identifiers. The photo you choose is used once, as an ordinary image, to generate your card illustration, and is then deleted as described under "How long we keep it". Neither we nor our providers use your photo to identify you, and under OpenAI's API data-usage policy your photo is not used to train AI models.

How long we keep it

• Everything is encrypted while it's on our servers.
• The photo you submit is deleted right after your card is generated.
• The finished card is deleted from our servers the moment your phone has received it.
• Your finished cards are stored locally on your device (in the app) — not on our servers.

Who we share with

• OpenAI— processes your photo and the card details you entered, solely to generate the card. Under OpenAI's API data-usage policy this content is not used to train their models (OpenAI's privacy policy).
• Apple — delivers push notifications and handles in-app purchases.
• We also use trusted cloud infrastructure providers to run the service; your data only passes through them transiently and encrypted.

We never sell your data, and we don't track you across apps. No advertising SDKs.

Purchases

Purchases of cards/credits are handled by Apple via the App Store. We never receive card numbers or payment details.

Children

The app is family-friendly, but not specifically directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Your choices

• You can delete any card in the app at any time.
• Uninstalling the app removes the cards stored on your device.
• You can turn off notifications in your phone's Settings.

Changes

We may update this policy. We'll note any significant changes in the app or here.
